Annual Analyses Reports

The quality of the water being produced at Washington Aqueduct is excellent. It meets or exceeds all United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) standards and requirements.

Washington Aqueduct’s Water Quality is Continuously Monitored - In Washington Aqueduct’s state-certified water quality laboratory, professional technicians perform tens of thousands of chemical and bacteriological tests on water samples each year. The results of this rigorous testing continually confirm that Washington Aqueduct’s water is safe to drink.
